From acts of kindness to major donations to the needy and frontline workers, Celebrities are doing their bit to help in the midst of the coronavirus outbreak.
Renowned rapper and VRMG Boss, Edem has been at the forefront of the fight against coronavirus; spreading awareness and donating to mitigate the impact of COVID 19 on people.
On Easter Sunday, Edem and his wife, Stacy Hotor, together with the VRMG team and PepperDem provided breakfast for over 50 police/ military men (Frontline Workers) around the Nungua and Spintenx area.
Edem also randomly donated cash to 30 of his fans and the needy.
The versatile rapper and Brand Ambassador for Snappy Snacks, on Tuesday April 14th stepped up and took his philanthropic work a notch higher; donating boxes of sanitizers and products from Food Tech Limited – Snappy Chips, No.8 Exotic Snacks and Cornelly Snacks to officials at the LEKMA and Police Hospitals in Accra.
“ As a citizen of Ghana, I know the situation and my team and I feel that everybody should help in the best way they can. It’s not about who you are, rather it’s about the fact that we have to look out for each other “ Edem noted after donating to frontline workers at the Police Hospital in Accra.
The “Efie Fuo” composer is confident the kind gesture will go a long way to contribute to the fight against COVID-19.
“VRMG as a music group and Food Tech we decided to provide a few amenities for the hospitals. Lekma is one of the places we went to because that is somehow my area and we also identified the Police Hospital , it is nothing specifically, we just cannot do all, so we encourage other people that if you can give to other hospitals regionally, give “ The rapper and humanitarian remarked.
Certainly the best feeling is to share when you have…BIG UPs to Edem , his Manager, ‘Daniel Adjei Masoul’ and the entire VRMG Management for sharing love and most importantly, putting their privilege to good use.
