Artiste Manager, George Britton has come under intense fire following a comment that Ghana’s Music industry will collapse without Sarkodie, Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale.
Coming from a Showbiz critic of his stature, Many industry influencers find his comment unfortunate and uninspiring.
In an attempt to excuse himself from blame, George Britton (Former Manager for music duo, Keche) in a Facebook post suggested his comments were taken out of context.
“ I said currently these three are very relevant and without them, there wouldn’t be much to discuss in our entertainment space.” Is this a lie? George Britton wrote.
But the renowned rapper, Edem is still of the strong opinion that the talent manager goofed big time.
He finds it totally unacceptable for George Britton to constantly be kissing the ass of other Artistes to the detriment of his own Artiste, Keche.
The hitmaker who did not mince words blasted George Britton for being an ass-kisser and seized the moment to school him on the do’s & don’ts of a professional Manager.
He wrote “Artiste Manager rule number one…Put no one above your brand(Artiste) Your ass-kissing other names no make Keche self look big..Dont do that to To your new act ..What u take the 500k promote..Master sit down #Gbevu” Edem noted in a tweet.
In a reply sighted by Konxeptworae.com, George Britton said “ Edem Goget’em herrrrr, 😂I no dey with the 500 Geng again oo Chale.😂”
In what seemed a reply to the talent manager, Edem simply asked George Britton to “Shut Up and look Wise”
“ Shut up and look wise @georgebritton
1. Michael Jackson absence didn’t collapse Music
2. Bob Marley Absence didn’t collapse Reggae
3. Ebony(RIP) Absence didn’t collapse the female scene
Industry collapse when they are not economically viable not when a handful leave”
